Help me find a Lakes holiday for 6 adults + 10 young children

What I'm looking for accommodation in the Lake District for a get together in October next year between 6 friends (some may bring partners but they'd be sharing a room so don't think that matters too much) but all bringing 1-4 young children. We need at least 9 rooms.

Happy to go for one big house / apartments or separate ones in the same area or even a hotel although a house / apartment would allow for more socialising.

Try Lakeland Village in Backbarrow near Newby Bridge. Lots of apartments and if you get one of the big ones, that can be the main meeting place.

Monkhouse Hill Cottages is very family friendly. It’s got a games room and outdoor play area. I don’t think there’s a cottage quite big enough for all of you, but if you book as a group they’ll put you in adjacent cottages if possible.

You could hire a youth hostel. DH’s uncle did it for his 70th. It worked really well.

We're staying here next weekend . 12 of us. I believe it used to be aYouth Hostel.

Loads of various bedroom configurations and once you park up it's literally a 5 minute walk into Ambleside so no need to drive if you don't want to.

There's the main house which has 7 bedrooms and sleeps up to 16, 6 showers and you can take 4 dogs plus a smaller attached house which sleeps 4.

We're just using the main house.

Still looking at options but may have found something else. I think budget is around £150 per room per night (ish)
