Family hotels for older kids/tweens

Have just returned from a break at a hotel - one of a chain - known for being friendly to toddlers and small kids and realise that we’re in the process of growing out of them. So: any recommendations for good family hotels - UK or Europe - which suit kids aged 9+? Thanks in advance!

I’ve got this age kids and am on a similar quest! Seen various threads on the same question

The conclusion is: Mark Warner/Neilson if you want a kids club for this age.

If you’re not fussed about a kids club then somewhere with slides

Eurocamp is often recommended as there is lots to do on site, and loads of other kids around to play with, without having to join a kids club (tho many do have clubs)

We haven’t found the holy grail yet! Tried Mark Warner but wasn’t for us, too regimented. We are looking at Alpine holidays as there is lots to do. Or possibly a sailing/windsurfing based holiday in Greece or Menorca.

Carden Park has an indoor pool, games room and craft room. It also has lots of school holiday activities https://www.cardenpark.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2023/09/Carden-Park-School-Holiday-Activity-Guide-.pdf
Other ones we’ve enjoyed with older children are Crieff Hydro and The Belfry.

Thanks so much both! Really helpful suggestions. @minipie Had thought about the Alpine Elements holidays. DS doesn’t tolerate being packed off to kids club but does like meeting/playing with other kids if not forced! Interesting re mark warner doesn’t sound our thing.
@Forgottenmyphone i hadn’t heard of any of those thank you! Off to google.
