‘Unique’ holiday/break ideas?!

Can anyone recommend any amazing ‘unique/different’ holiday/breaks within the UK? Me and DP enjoy ‘stays with a view’ and cabins in a forest etc. DP is turning 40 soon and something amazingly unique would be so lush! Not really sure what I’m expecting people to say and my explanation is a bit naff but hopefully someone out there will get the gist of what I’m trying to say 🙈🙈

a million thanks!

How about this beautiful boathouse in the Lake District? It's on the Lingholm Estate next to Derwentwater. Beautiful setting. Very peaceful and private but there's also the fabulous Lingholm Kitchen a few mins walk away for fabulous breakfasts and lunches. You can even walk with alpacas on the estate with Alpacaly Ever After. And if you like walking, it's very near the famous Catbells walk.

The Hocus Pocus Tiny Hotel in York looks so cool. I have never been, but it has been recommended on Mumsnet and looks awesome!

Not sure if they still do it as this was a few years ago but when we were National trust members they had a catalogue of NT properties you could stay in. Some were super cool like lighthouses!

Not self-catering but Lake Vyrnwy Hotel in Wales is in a beautiful spot

There's a place on the Isle of Wight where you can stay in a helicopter

We stayed here recently in the cabin called UP
Wyelets Holiday Let
It's absolutely lovely, not for those who like everything pristine as it's quite jungly in a way but very clean and comfortable. It has a baby grand piano and a lovely woodburner and is very eco friendly. You can walk along Offa's Dyke and it's very close to Chepstow for shopping.

Oh it also has a very interesting history, it was a brothel!
The owner is lovely, left us a birthday cake iced with DH's name!

I've always wanted to have a holiday in a windmill. There's a nice on in the Norfolk broads as I remember.

Lodges at zoos was my first thought.
