Looking for holiday early season next Summer - it’ll be with a 3.5 and 18m old. We want plenty to do for the kids, good food and opportunities for childcare. Basically looking for a bit of time where we can feel like we’ve gone on a pre kids fly and flop as well as fun for them!

DD3 has food allergies so we need a good quality hotel who will cater for her safely.

As we’re going out of school hols we can stretch to Ikos prices for a week, but are there other hotels that do the same job you’d recommend? And if Ikos - any you’ve enjoyed more than others? Totally flexible where in Europe…

Thanks!

I haven't been to Ikos but we're going to Sani Dunes next year which is owned by the same company and of the same standard. There's a few Sani hotels all in the same area making up one big resort.

Watching with interest. We are looking for a holiday next summer with our 3yo and 18mo. Would love to stay in a resort near a beach on the Mediterranean coast somewhere. I'm finding it hard to get 2 or 3 bed apartments within resorts. We ideally need 3 separate rooms for sleeping (DH and I will probably end up on the sofa bed as we'll go to bed last 😅). A kitchenette would be nice, along with restaurants within the resort. Does such a thing exist!?

Ikos is unparalleled for all of the things you want OP. If you can afford it, I'd do that.

Agree re Ikos the headline cost is expensive but we ended up spending just as mush in the end on a jet2 package to Rhodes which did not compare the Ikos
If you can afford it do it
I've been three times and really enjoyed the Dassia in Corfu

Also watching as we are looking for something similar. We went to Domes of Elounda (Crete) last year and enjoyed it a lot. It was a much bigger resort than we’ve been to before but chose it due to the crèche/kids club which was really excellent. The beach was great & lovely staff. I’d definitely return or try another of the Domes hotels. It’s not all inclusive so you do end up with a bar bill. We’re very tempted to try Ikos next year.
