Which is the best airline to New York with 2 kids?

About to book trip to NY with DD 3,8 and not sure which airline will keep them busy and happy!....Continental,American Airlines,BA,Virgin or Delta?

BA

US based airlines are IME far less accommodating.

Have a look at seatguru for info on each airline.

I would book BA every time. Maybe virgin.

Definitely Virgin or BA, in that order. A far nicer experience than alternatives. I wouldn't even consider the American airlines, having tried both.

I'm going to New York at Easter with 2dcs. Flying with American, but only because BA and Virgin were just too expensive. I think American are crap and would not recommend them; Virgin or BA are much, much better.

Would certainly recommend a British based carrier like BA or Virgin (in that order) over an American one.
