My daughter has just gone no-contact with her dad and I'd like to take her away next year; just the two of us.

Her dad had taken her on several 5-star all-inclusive holidays over the years which she loved but that's not really my type of holiday, which is why I'm asking for help.

I can go away with my DH another time for our kind of holiday (B&B, exploring the area etc), but do you have any recommendations where we could go? She 18.

She loves the Greek islands but to be honest, as we'd never leave the hotel we could be anywhere. We don't need a beach. We just want a fairly large hotel with a choice of pools and restaurants where we could just chill for a few days with some nice weather.

Any recommendations please?

Ikos Aria. Takes AI to a new level.

I took my 17 year old DD who loves AI to a two centre holiday in Mauritius which she absolutely loved Long Beach and Sugar Beach but would need longer than a few days. Taxi transfers to from and in-between and can hire taxis for days out. Very good for snorkelling tropical fish, glass bottom boat and a la carte restaurants can have every night and loads of cocktails and cocktails with flowers. Infinity pool. Wonderful food.

Why wouldn’t you leave the hotel?

I'd struggle to get my daughter to leave the hotel due to her anxiety. She feels safer within the hotel grounds and is perfectly happy staying there for the duration.

It depends somewhat on your budget and time of year. I really rate Rubicon Palace in Lanzarote and the Ikos resorts are very good (but very expensive).
