Hi , we’re looking at a long haul holiday next summer , we went to Asia this July gone which was unbearably hot , the year before we done a fantastic South Africa safari .
I would prefer to go somewhere that’s not hot next year my oh fancies Australia or Argentina
If we go to Australia I feel that we would have to stay for at least 3 weeks in air BnB
Has anyone travelled to either of these places ?

We have been to Australia, would agree 3 weeks minimum, round the Great Barrier Reef, fly to Cairns, is great that time of year. Atherton Tablelands nearby where we saw lots of wildlife, tree kangaroos, possum, pademelon, bettong, platypus, cassowary, wallabies etc, Daintree rainforest with crocodiles. We also did a whale and dolphin boat trip in Port Stephens and saw about 150 of them. Can do at various places. Did Sydney and Blue Mountains and breakfast with koalas at Featherdale but colder there.

Costa Rica is good for wildlife.

We’ve been to Australia several times and I agree, a minimum of at least 3 weeks, more depending on where you go/what you want to see as Australia is vast. Our summer is their winter so some places will be chilly and/or wet. That said, Queensland will be warmer than NSW or South Australia so may well suit weather wise.

Argentina is on my bucket list, Australia doesn't as sound interesting to me, I suppose budget comes into it too - Australia is very expensive once you are there, similar prices for flights to Argentina but cost of living there is lower so your money will stretch further/afford higher end hotels etc (assuming you're not unlimited in spends!)

At that time of year, Canada. Specifically Vancouver, Vancouver island and Whistler.
