Solo female

Hey all so I’m looking to go to negril next year as a solo female traveler, was wondering if anyone has done this before as a solo woman, looking for a hotel with a swim up room!

I would Jamaica with a husband in tow let alone on my own

I’m looking at a resort hotel as I feel it be safer just looking for relaxation, wouldn’t leave the resort unless it was a planned event

Jamaica is incredibly seedy in many areas outside of the nicer resorts (and inside some of the cheaper ones). It has quite a lot of sex tourism and men WILL approach you on the beach asking if you want to pay for services. There is also a high rate of HIV.
It is not somewhere I would go back to ever, and especially not as a solo woman.
