Hello, we’ve had a crap year and can’t face Xmas. It’s too filled with memories. Can anyone suggest a break over Xmas that might be unusual but not ridiculously expensive? Skiing is out, DH not well. If I was rich I’d nip to Thailand or Bali !
we’d fly from Edinburgh or, at a push, Liverpool. We have a 15 ye old DS.

Spain doesn't really do Xmas until 6th Jan. So that might be quite nice and different if you want a change that's not extortionate

We went to Fuerteventura between Xmas and New Year and it was 25 degrees every day, swam in the sea on NYD!

also need to work on DH who has just told me he wants to stay here ( he always does) not sure I can cope mentally with that. May be off to the relationship board!
