Thinking of a holiday in Italy next year. Ideally booking a villa with a pool, but with the opportunity to travel to some big towns or cities for day trips

would love to include Naples in that, so would love any ideas on where a good base might be to do that?

I've bookmarked this for a future trip. It's out of town hence the really good price but we'd be hiring a car anyway. Ideal for exploring Naples, Vesuvius, Herculaneum etc.
