You get one smallish bag eg large handbag /small backpack, and you can book and pay for an extra cabin sized bag to go on the overhead lockers. If you only take the included bag, you have to have everything together in one bag. Eg put a handbag inside laptop bag.

RunningFromInsanity · 20/10/2023 21:23

Not if you haven’t paid extra. And they have been very strict recently, checking bag sizes etc.

Cinai · 21/10/2023 13:40

Nope. Strictly one piece only, whenever I flew with them.

You have to prebook a second bag.

The rules change all the time. When I flew most recently with them I booked a cabin bag for overhead lockers and you were allowed another bag that would fit under seats. They have made it so that it’s fairly impossible to travel without paying extra baggage now.

How much is it to for cabin bag to fit over head

It will vary by flight, but also often gives you speedy boarding etc.

No you’d have to pay extra… unless you can stick your laptop bag inside an airport shopping bag.

newtothis15 · 21/10/2023 14:19

Which shopping bag can i use? If i buy domething in sirport?

I bought from boots. I got water and a couple of extra travel mini toiletries. I only had a small cross body bag that I put inside. Nothing as big as a laptop.

Not anymore. One bag and has to go under seat in front. I fly BA Euro Traveller now. Seems to work out about the same price on the routes I fly and you get cabin bags and food.

Also, passengers seem less excitable, so a more peaceful flight. No kids running up and down the aisle or people blocking the aisle while they chat to their mates, etc.

ScandiNoirNuit · 22/10/2023 17:58

I flew with them recently and managed to put laptop bag under the seat in front, check dimensions, seemed like there were a lot of people doing that.

I will be flying next month for an overnight trip and intend to just put a small change of clothes in the laptop bag, plenty of my colleagues seem to do this.

I’ve just flown with them. Unless you pay for a case to go in the overhead locker or in the hold, it’ll need to fit under the seat in front of you.

In the flights I’ve taken this week - I was working in what is more generally a holiday destination- those of us who’d paid extra got to board first so we had room for our bags in the overhead bins.

So don’t count on being able to sneak an unpaid-for bag to give yourself more leg room!

Thst said, I travel with a backpack (that takes my laptop and other work essentials) and a small cross body bag. I wasn’t asked to put my handbag into my backpack - but then it’s a small camera bag style handbag, not a monster Mary Poppins carpet bag style one!

Easyjet make it very complicated and it varies by flight without a published set price.

It is often cheaper to pay for speedy boarding or possibly seat selection which comes with an extra baggage allowance than it is to pay for a bag itself as an add on.
