Toddler on a cruise... tips?

Hi all,

I'm planning to book a cruise with Princess and don't know what I'm letting myself in for with my toddler in tow! She's easy going atm and will be about 21 months at the time... Any tips on how to make it a success?

We'll be driving to the port and retuning to the same port, it will be spring in the Mediterranean so not too hot (I hope!).

I'm particularly wondering if anyone has room choice recommendations (maybe we need a mini suite for the travel cot??), but would love to hear all experiences!

Thanks!!!

I have no experience but I follow startingsolidswithsunnie on Instagram and they’ve just been a cruise. They took a paddling pool for the balcony because toddlers in nappies aren’t allowed in the main pools on some and she said it was really useful

Paddling pool for the shower as some cabins don’t have a bath. Also, likely toddlers aren’t allowed in the pool.
