Holiday destination ideas. I would like to go somewhere nice and sunny either February, April or August but I’m clueless as not travel much. We have been turkey recently and loved it. It’s me and my daughters 7 and 6 travelling. Max budget would be £700pp

For winter sun you would need to go a bit further. Thailand would be warm and sunny, and Egypt would more than likely be okay. I've been twice in February, once was lovely and sunny, other time was much cooler. Your money will go further in Egypt, £700pp might be a stretch for Thailand.

In April it would be similar. It might still be a little chilly for some european destinations.

For August, you get more for your money in Turkey, and there are some amazing AI resorts. I know you said you have been recently, but there are loads of different places to go. You will probably get a good deal for Greece too, or Mainland Spain. You might even get a deal for your budget for the Balearics (Menorca tends to be cheaper) or the Canaries. All of those will be lovely and sunny in August.

In answer to your question, we are off to Madeira and Mexico next year, and possibly Iceland later in the autumn.
