Trunki booster seat on Ryanair

Has anyone taken a Trunki backpack booster seat on Ryanair? Their website says a Trunki case or similar brand is allowed but no mention of the booster.

Do you mean the ones for the car ? We’ve but put it on the hand luggage place

That’s the one @EasterIssland . It’s bigger than the allowed small cabin bag dimensions so I’m trying to work out if their stated exception for Trunki case would apply.

Is it? Haven’t flown with Ryanair. We’ve used it with easyJet and klm and never a problem
its smaller than by backpack

It's classed as a child's car seat so can go for free in the hold. Up to 2 child items per child passenger (up to age 11). They are listed as baby items, but car seats can go in this category no matter the age of the child.

I don't think you'll be able to take it as hand luggage, though.

Thanks but we’ve had our holiday. DS won’t be flying again until he doesn’t need a booster.

Yes sorry I thought it might be a bit late, it just came up randomly in a search and as it was only a couple of weeks old I thought I might as well answer just in case.

Did you use the boostapak as hand luggage?
