Can we get a package holiday departing 2 different airports

A friend and I would like to book a holiday together but need to fly from 2 different UK airports. A package is preferable because we could pay in installments which would be more affordable. We'd prefer to share a room to keep it cheap. Is it possible for us to book a package from 2 different airports (using the same company) but share a room? I'd also be happy with separate rooms but feel like that would cost more and perhaps wipe out the benefit of the package (ie. The ability to pay in instalments)?

Unless it's a bespoke travel agent you probably won't be able to do this.

Go to a travel agent and ask. Some might modify the package for you, some might not.

You wouldn't be able to do it in one booking online, but as has been suggested maybe a travel agent would be able to sort it out for you.
You could book flights separately and then accommodation together through somewhere like booking.com. If you use a credit card you can still pay in installments and have protection from your credit card company.

You’ve got the ability to get the same hotel but not share a room.

If you have to put it on a credit card, the interest rate (unless you have a 0% deal, which are few and far between these days) will wipe out any saving you might get from booking a package. Then you might as well book your own flights and hotel.

Inghams will do this for you so I imagine many other holiday companies will. We often have some of our party flying from Scotland and part from London. You need to talk to a customer services person rather than do it on line but they've never suggested it is a problem or a strange request

What's best depends on where and when you're going and how flexible you are.

You could save up book late, but the flights could cost more.

According to https://www.moneysavingexpert.com/credit-cards/best-0-credit-cards/

There's still plenty of 0% credit cards, so you could just book the flights directly, booking.com for the hotel and then transfer the balance. However that relies on you both being able to get balance transfer cards.

On the beach do pay by instalments but I don't know if they can accommodate flights from separate airports, perhaps give them a call and ask?

Or can you both travel to the same airport in the UK and go from there? Might be a lot easier way to get the package you want.
