what parts of the world that you have never or rarely been to would you love to go to?

Norway Sweden that region

I think there’s a fashionability factor. It was all about America in the 80’s, lots of India, Vietnam and Thailand in the 90’s, city breaks to Prague Venice and Barcelona even Russia in the early 2000’s. Australia in the later part of the decade maybe and Croatia .. I think Scandi counteries are cool now as well as Poland.

I haven’t been to Oz but I think it looks really appealing suddenly. The cities look beautiful now rather than all suburbs.

Australia - always planned to go, but time passes and now it’s too late.

I’d love to go to Egypt to see the pyramids.

Samarkand, and other key parts of the old Silk Route. It was such a significant route historically and I would love to see the monuments and landscape of Central Asia in general.

No interest in going anywhere colder or more northerly than where i am already

I'd like to visit more of Scandinavia and the Arctic Circle.

I'd also love to go and see some of the magnificent wildlife in Africa, on safari.
Haven't done the research as to where yet, but would also love to see the Victoria Falls.

Svalbard - I will one day. I've been to Antarctica (South Georgia) so would love to do the opposite.

Oh, me too, I'm fascinated by that part of the world but have never been.
Also, relatedly, the 'Stans', especially Uzbekistan.

And closer to home, Iceland.

I've never been to South East Asia (Thailand, Cambodia etc) but feel I 'should' rather than a burning desire to; I can't quite see what one does there or goes there to see.

Never been anywhere in South America but would love to see Patagonian Chile in particular.

Oh, and, I don't know if this will ever be possible, but Russia, specifically St Petersburg and Odesa.
And Kaliningrad. Went to the Baltics recently and was so tempted to include a Kaliningrad segment, but it just felt a bit too unsafe.

South America and Japan please!

South America. I finally made it to Peru last year and it was everything I imagined it would be and more.

Agree MarkWithaC, Russia would be fascinating for the history and Iceland for the geography. China for the landscape - mind blowing.

Yeah, I would love to go to Lebanon but clearly not now!
And Syria before all those amazing things were destroyed.
