Flyte suitcases Tui

Hi
Looking at buying my DD one of these, we’re flying with Tui next week.

The suitcase is 4cm over the max depth dimension (but way under on the height and width one)
Has anyone had a problem with using these recently?
Thanks

As I watched someone being charged at the airport the other day, I’d not ignore the measurements myself. Logic would say it’s ok, jobsworth, may not agree.

It depends on luck. I wouldn't use one bigger than stated size limit.

DD and boyf - took 6 flights on a recent holiday to US. I said his luggage was too big (about 3cm). 5 flights - no problem. Charged about £80 on the other.
Similar with another family member - ok on one flight, same company charged him for hold on return flight.

Im not flying with TUI but easyJet and I’ve read on their website that a trunki is allowed, despite being slightly bigger than their hand luggage dimensions, I think even RyanAir allow Trunkis for children aged 2-11 so if TUI allow a Trunki I’d argue it’s the virtually the same (I think)
