Hot water issue at hotel

We are in the Channel Islands at the moment. Just had our third night and go home tomorrow.

We have had no hot water in our room since we arrived. I’ve managed 3 luke warm showers. The rest of the family verging on cold. I’ve reported each day to the hotel. The sink has been luke warm for face washing. I got a bit sharper with my response to reception this morning. Reception say they will send up maintenance.

I know I’m not being unreasonable but unless there is hot water tonight and tomorrow morning would you ask for some sort of refund? I’m not asking for the whole lot after all we’ve had a good room, just no hot water.

I recently stayed one night in an apartment with luke warm water. I got a 25% discount.

You've been there for 3 days and they're only just sending maintenance now?! Did you ask to move rooms? (assume you did but the hotel is full?)

I can't believe you've tolerated this for 3 nights - or that you're using all the lukewarm water and leaving your family with cold. 🤐

I had a hotel room in Paris that didn't have hot water. I complained to reception and they fixed it while I was out at work that day. If not I would have kicked off massively. I shower every morning so no hot water is a dealbreaker for me.

we’ve reported to reception every morning. We’ve been assured it been looked at and that maintenance have attended. I am pissed off this morning.
