Disneyland Paris - newbie needing help please

we're considering going on short break to Disneyland Paris with 21month old and 4.5yr old

is it worth it? I know they have under 7s go free but still seems a lot of money

anyone been? where did you stay? how to save some pennies?

any and all advice gratefully received as I find the website a bit overwhelming!!

Most of our money went on food, which is hideously expensive especially as it consists of burgers, chips & pizza. There are a few food carts but they weren't open when we went in Feb they may have been cheaper.
