AMOUNT OF TIME ON A PASSPORT

anyone been to cyprus with 2 months left on their passport? did you have any problems.

Check with your airline first, they are the ones that can refuse if you have less than 3 months on your passport.

But you can also check online with their embassy and with the British passport office as well. Do you have time to renew it? Better to do so if you can. They can get it back to you within a fortnight sometimes.

airline say call embassy, cant get thru, have emailed so waiting for a reply.could renew but will be a real hassle as going in 2 weeks, will have to go to passport office.

That's a bit useless of them. When I rang the airline they were very clear, and this was to Portugal, 3 months or forget it.

have you checked the embassy's website?

Are you near any of the passport offices? It might be worth just getting a new one but I know it's much more expensive and if you don't have the paperwork perfect, the photo perfect, the signature perfect they can tell you to sling your hook! As they did once when I signed in my maiden name what a palaver!
