Marrakech in January

Looking at booking a week all inclusive in marrakech. We’ve been priced out of Egypt/canaries! Is the weather warm there start of January? Any good hotel recommendations? I know the earthquake was devastating there but I don’t think the city was affected as much.

We stayed at jardins de la medina. It’s not AI but there are lots of low cost options for food.

Great location and lovely hotel

It might not be very warm. I was there for a couple of nights early January a few years back and it was wet and chilly. Average max is 19 C and minimum is 6 C. More than likely to be sunny though.

It would be a shame to go all-inclusive in Marrakech because there are so many amazing restaurants and cafes to explore. Most are very reasonable, so you might even save money by going out for meals.

I can’t speak for January but have been in mid December and it was lovely. Really chilly in mornings and evenings but sunny and blue skies all day. Warm enough to sunbathe (in a sheltered spot) in the middle of the day. You’d definitely want a heated pool though.
