Somewhere nice pretty close to Folkestone

We're living away at the moment but our kids would really like to visit England for Halloween as it's not celebrated where we are. We only have 3-5 days. So don't want to spend too many days travelling. Where do you suggest close to Eurotunnel that will be nice for a family holiday possibly with a Halloween event thrown in?

Deal is lovely. I assume English Heritage will do some kind of event at the castle.

Dover castle normally has Halloween events on

Rye, Chilham, Wye and Hythe are all pretty. Leeds Castle does excellent Halloween events and activities

Hastings Old Town

Broadstairs

Canterbury and you can visit lots of places mentioned above from there.
