we are flying from stansted early in the morning, and I thought it miught be easier to book a hotel with parking rather than travel down in the morning.
but I don't want to have to go to bed when ds does at 7, and wouldnt be comfy leaving him while we go to the bar or something.

so, does anyone know if there is such a thing where you have a room for the adults and a little side room for the kids, all under one 'room' iyswim?

no there isn't

put the travel cot in the bathroom

We stayed at the SAS Radisson at STansted and got adjoining rooms - but they were double rooms, so it was far from cheap. Was lovely, though - more hotels should advertise these as it is so much nicer than the "Family Room" nightmare where you have to tiptoe around in the dark all evening.

many hotels DO have joining rooms

ie 2 rooms next with a door in between.

you could ahve one of these and be in the next room

thanks for your replies. seems like it is an expensive option then.
mrsb - we arent taking a travel cot, but I suppose we could stash one in the car if there's room..
hmm, I will have to weigh up if its worth it - we are only 70 mins from the airport, but we are rubbish at early mornings..
