DH’s birthday is early November. He’s not into parties etc and we’ve had a really tough couple of months with family/illness. I’d like to book a weekend for us all as a family (inc DD 12, DD 10, DS6) to go away Friday night to Sunday and just get some quality time in together somewhere within a 2hr drive of London. Ideally looking for a family friendly hotel with say an indoor pool/spa/kids club or activities for the kids so that adults can get some R&R for a few hours (in a spa?) but where kids don’t feel like they are being palmed off etc. DD12 is particularly spiky about things like this and holds a lot of sway over her siblings so holiday needs to be exciting enough to get her alongside to keep everyone aligned. Does such a thing exist?!
We’ve done CenterParcs etc but this doesn’t fit the bill this time due to all the ferrying around the adults seem to end up doing. Thanks
