Currently in Kefalonia staying in San Lorenzo Village in Lassi.
Love Lassi but my good the hill. New it was a hill to the hotel but this is a bit much for us.

Does anyone know of a hotel in Kefalonia not a long transfer, we booked a private transfer from the airport and was 15 mins, that is not up a hill close to restaurants and bars within a few minutes stroll?

first time on this Island and loving it.

Stayed in Lassi and am familiar with the hill 😂😂😩😭😭 Tbh we ended up walking down and always cabbing it back up xx

I’ve stayed at SLV 7 times and never had a problem with the hill. Ok it’s steep but it’s only short.

This year I went up Skiathos and the hill to our hotel was far worse.

Glad for you not having a problem with the hill, though it is for us.
Im looking for other hotel suggestions in my post.

Consider anywhere on Kefalonia it’s truly beautiful here.

Enalion suites, its in Lassi and a very short walk to the restaurants. We went last year and it was amazing plus it has direct access to the beach.

An update as I dislike threads where the OP gets advise and vanishes.

We have booked Hotel Lorenzo, just a short doable incline which is near restaurants cafes supermarkets etc.
Thought about the Mediterranean but that is on a steep hill too.
Booked car hire so we can see more of the Island and suss out other hotels for future visits. Love Kefalonia.

We stayed in Hotel Lassi in 2016, very nice, loads of lovely restaurants around, best Greek food I’ve ever had was in Kefalonia. Went with Jet2.

Not helping I know, but we stayed in Fiskado and had the same hill issue! However when you have your hire car, I’d recommend it for a visit.

Isn’t it completely dead at the moment? Most hotels are closed and hardly any direct flights. I am curious about the temperature too.

For future visits, we stay in Skala, at the Nine Muses hotel. It is just across the coast road from the pebbly beach, and there are other hotels along that road too. They aren’t massive though. There are lots of bars and tavernas within walking distance, and also shops. There is an amazing jewellers called Veronicas, with some beautiful things, some are original designs. We can recommend the Sunrise fish restaurant, the fish platter is fabulous. There is an incline here and there, but if I can manage them at 65, you should be able to!
