Best ikos resort for couples?

Hi everyone

i am trying to book a holiday for next September but can’t seem to decide between the resorts.

the reviews seem so mixed on whether they are over run with children but ideally we would like somewhere quiet and with a private pool. If anyone has any feedback on the resorts it would be appreciated.

They have adult-only pools and areas etc, but most still feel like family resorts overall, IMO.

Have a look at Stella Island

Colleagues at work go to IKOS resorts with kids and persuaded a young couple without kids to go. They went to the Crete one in September and said was full.of people with babies and toddlers and they felt very out of place. I'm not sure why you'd pay a hefty premium to go to a resort chain that markets itself as being family friendly and charges a premium for that. Why don't you spend the SE money going to literally the best 'normal' hotel in whichever IKOS location? You'd get more luxury for the same money I'd have thought.

We are just looking for a very easy short break as we can only go for 5 nights and it seemed like an easy option

I definitely wouldn't bother with Ikos if you don't have kids with you. Another vote for Stella island or some of the hotels in Mykonos look fantastic although I haven't been....

So so many other options that Ikos. Even with family it’s expensive and full of other people’s children.

There are plenty of adult only resorts which are cheaper and better for couples.

Definitely not a child free destination.
