Hotel near Stansted Airport

The Premier Inn at Stansted Airport mentions that it doesn't have a hotel car park, but there is one next to it and that you have to pay. Has anyone ever stayed at the Premier Inn at Stansted and used the car park. I don't want to get there and not be able to park the car after a long journey. I am flying out in the early hours of the morning - so planning on moving the car to a mid stay car park before I fly. Can't any reply from PI at Stansted, so not sure where to leave the car the night we arrive.

The Hilton Hampton has a car park and is the only hotel at Stansted you can also walk to from the terminal.

You can do a hotel with parking package. We do it every year. We always drop our car at the mid stay car park the evening before, then get the free shuttle bus to the terminal. We stay in The Radisson Hotel which is 2 minute walk from the terminal. Then no messing around with cars on the morning of the flight.

The Raddison Blu at Stansted Airport is very nice. It is attached to the terminal building and has parking. I think they do park and fly deals

The Premier Inn has a car park, it just costs though reduced if you are staying at the hotel. The annoying thing is that the PI is very close to the mid stay but its not a nice walk so really you would want to use shuttles via the terminal. The one to/from the mid stay car park is free, but as the one to/from the hotel is £4 per adult each way it might not cost in doing this, but does save some hassle in the morning. As others have suggested if your budget allows the Raddison Blu/Hilton are walkable to the terminal.

Stayed there this summer - there is a discount code in the lobby on the wall by check in, and the machine for car park payment is in the entrance to hotel, so you need the code before you go to the machine. It was £12 for an over night.
You can also check in at the machine, so don’t need to queue for the receptionist.

The next day we drove to the airport parking we had booked.

If you are hungry there is a McDonalds and. M and S shop next door.

Entrance to PI car park was hidden by a bush - it is a left turn before you get right to the end of that road that leads into another car park.
