Would love to go! However, can the weather be unpredictable even in the summer?

Yes, it can. My partner is from there and the last few years he visited in the summer he hardly got to go to the beach at all. This year, however, we both went for 2 weeks and the weather was beautiful until the last day when it suddenly changed. It's very unpredictable
