Skiing holidays when you can’t ski due to pregnanancy - resort recommendations?

I’m an enthusiastic skier and last year I took my DH skiing for the first time. He had the best time ever, as he said, and is looking forward so much to skiing again this winter. But I’m pregnant now and skiing is off the cards for me. Do you know of any ski resorts where you can have fun as a non-skier? I’m thinking nice spa area, village with some cafes, some winter hiking and maybe other preganancy-friendly activities, option to take a gondola/ski lift up the mountain as a pedestrian to meet DH up there for lunch while he skis? Ideally Austria or Italy, Dec/Jan.

Zermatt Switzerland has all that.

Will he be happy skiing alone or are you looking for somewhere that he could join a group of other skiers?

Kitzbuhel! Beautiful town, lovely spa hotels, nice places to read books and drink hot chocolate.

Most resorts have tickets for non-skiers so that they can meet their friends and partners for lunch up on the mountain.

Saalbach, Hinterglemm or Zell am See have what you're looking for, particularly if you opt for a hotel that has a spa (or in Austrian, a "Wellness") area. All are an easy, short transfer from Salzburg, so you're not sitting on a coach for hours.

Kitzbuhel is nice too, but in December and January is going to be very expensive - and stay away from the week of the Hahnenkamm races (January 15th to 21st 2024).
