Lapland Day Trip or Disneyland Paris

Hi all,

Looking for advice from those who have done both really. Our child is just 9 and we're considering doing a day trip to Lapland but for the same price, we could get 3 days in Disneyland Paris.
Would love to get people's views on which would be best. Just to say, daughter is not a massive Disney fan but has said she'd like to go. I have always dreamt of taking her to Lapland for the day but am conscious time is running out and it's probably this year or never.
Hubby thinks Lapland is a huge sum of money for one day and I completely agree that it is, but I just think it's a real once in a lifetime trip..
Has anyone been fortunate enough to have done both, and what do they think was best?

I've never been to Disney world, but when I was about 8 I went for a day trip to Laplandand I still don't stop going on about it and how amazing it was and it was c 25 years later years!! Was one of the best and most memorable trips of my life

I think either would be amazing and you'd both enjoy both.

Do Lapland with Helsinki, theres Linmaki in centre (normal bus ride) with rides and thrill things.

Done Disneyland Paris 3 nights and Lapland 3 nights over Christmas and Lapland was much better. Would go for Lapland.

I would go for Lapland but I wouldn’t do it in a day. All of the reviews seem to say it’s a mega early start, quite a long day etc.
you can do it cheaper with some of the ski companies and get longer. You need to be prepared to do it DIY a bit though.
