Roof top bar Rome

We’re going to Rome with our 9yo in October. Can anyone recommend a rooftop bar/bar with a great view that we could go to with him early one evening?
We’re staying in Monti, so one around there would be handy.

Following as also off to Rome in October with our 9yr old! I've had a mare trying to find colosseum tickets but finally found some. Excited now!

Head to the Monument to Vittorio Emmanuel (also called Altare della Patria). It has a nice cafe bar around the back with great views of eastern Rome and the Colosseum. Be sure to also go up the panoramic glass lift to the rooftop for the most beautiful views of the whole of Rome.

Perfect @PinkPondQueen . We can go there after the Palantine Hill and the Forum.

Where did you get your tickets @username100001 ? I’ve got a 30 day alert set up for the CoopCulture website but I’ve resigned myself to not being able to see the lower parts. Did you know someone does a gladiator school too? Not cheap but it’s just DS and it looks fun for children.
