We're going to Vienna next year :)

Fuerteventura, the beaches are glorious.

Ionian islands - Corfu, kefalonia, zante?

Ylvamoon · 14/09/2023 17:49

I'm going Peak District in October for a few days hiking!
Done it before and can highly recommend it!

Glencoe in Scotland, absolutely beautiful.

Are there many shops because I have kids who love going around the shops and so do I.

What time of the year are you going, how long, what budget, how old are the kids, what do you like to do? Shop, museums, beach, history?

Going when it’s winter to get away from the cold, going for a week, as cheap as possible, like to shop.

Malaga, Morocco, Greek Islands, Sicily.

The obvious for cheap shopping would be Thailand, Pantip plaza in Bangkok or Malaysia, but might be too far for 1 weeks holiday. Air Asia used to have some great deals to South East Asia.

TizerorFizz · 14/09/2023 21:49

@Tydfutkfykfugykkuyvjg Cheap is quite difficult these days. I’d avoid Morocco right now.

Bigger resorts in Cyprus or Crete will have shopping. Florida is obvious. Egyptian Red Sea resorts. Canary Islands.

Corfu Town is fab for shopping and is also a world heritage site. Not sure how warm it will be in winter.
We are going to Sicilly in November. Hopefully warm but could rain??

BarbaraofSeville · 15/09/2023 04:07

Shop for what and where?

Somewhere in southern Spain might work and the weather could be decent, would be warmer than UK anyway.

Fuengirola is a working town with a reasonable year round tourist trade. There's a weekly street market, big shopping centre and the designer outlet at Malaga isn't too far away.

If you self catered your accommodation and food would be quite cheap, likewise flights.

What kind of shopping?
Flea markets and clothes, Paris
Leather goods, Granada
I loved shopping in Mumbai mostly rugs and art.
Discount chain malls probably Florida ( but exchange rates aren't great)
London has world class shopping.

Tydfutkfykfugykkuyvjg · 15/09/2023 18:23

Anything unique
