Maspalomas

Has anybody been to Maspalomas on holiday?

we are considering it for next summer, we like to be in walking distance of restaurants, shops & things to keep kids entertained etc so busy enough but not magaluf busy/rowdy.

this year we went to Costa Adeje and that was the right balance so looking for similar.

I’ve never stayed there but do know the area. Honestly I don’t think it’s what you are looking for. It’s sandwiched between lively Playa del Ingles and high end Melonares.

There isn’t much in Maspalomas itself apart from golf and accommodation.
You might be better off looking at Puerto Rico.

it's lovely there but not much going on.
Nice beach though.

I have friendsl currently on holiday there. They really like it , although I have to be honest. It really looks a bit "brits abroad " to me
