Palma with a toddler

Thinking of booking a trip to Palma in a couple of weeks for a long weekend with DH and 3 year old DS. Can anyone recommend a nice area to stay in. Would like an air bnb or apartment. Any recommendations for nice things to do and places to eat would be great. Thanks!!

I think for a weekend, the old town is the best place to stay - lots of things to do in walking distance, lots of cafes / restaurants, beautiful architecture.

If you want to be by the beach though then Playa de Palma is a nice area.

I would only advise against the old town if you’re planning on hiring a car - parking is an absolute nightmare.

@cherryassam thanks for the tip. Still haven't fully decided as lots of areas within a 2 hour flight look good. We don't plan on hiring a car as we will only be there a few days.
