A75 services

We are due to be traveling to Cairnryan port from England next week and I cannot find any services past Gretna Green! The stretch of A75 doesn’t seem to have any!

Due to a medical condition it’s important for us that we can stop somewhere and use the facilities if needed! It doesn’t need to be an urgent stop but something in between Gretna and Cairnryan would be great.

Anyone have any ideas? Any clean supermarkets or shopping centres? We don’t want to eat so cafes aren’t really an option, as we feel cheeky using without buying! Happy to buy a coffee though if there are any coffee shops.

We use House of Bruar when going up to the cairngorms so anything similar!

Hi, I live on the A75. If you come off at Castle Douglas there are plenty cafes and facilities, toilets at Tesco etc. only a couple of minutes detour of main road. Alternatively you can come off at Newton Stewart for similar facilities.
On the actual A75 without coming off the road there's the Inn on the Loch or The old tearoom at Ringford.

There are quite a few open during daylight hours, and a few supermarkets with better opening hours. Dumfries is a reasonable sized town with a big Tesco supermarket. There's a services somewhere around Castle Douglas (I've seen the road signs but couldn't point to it on a map). Castle Douglas also has a Tesco. There's a Morrissons in Cairnryan itself. Newton Stewart has a petrol station, I think there's a services there as well but not 100% certain. The services all well-signposted though. They're just not searchable as they're not "motorway services" per-se, they're those smaller ones as it's an A-road.

Tesco or Costa on the A75 at Dumfries literally 30 seconds off the main road (come off at Cuckoo Bridge roundabout).
