Lake garda weather end of May

Hi All. Me and my family are thinking of going to south of Lake Garda end of May for half term next year. Just wondered if anyone has been in recent years at the end of May and advise what the weather was like?

Following as I'm thinking of doing the same.

We went for half term about 5 years ago and it was perfect, although the lake water was quite cold! It wasn’t too hot for sightseeing but it was warm enough for sitting around the pool and we did go in the lake. There was still snow on the top of Monte Baldo, we played in the snow and swam in the lake at the bottom on the same day

We went last year at this time. Weather was lovely, much hotter than we expected, probably mid to high 20s. The forecast had looked dreadful at times but in reality it was warm and sunny pretty much all the time.

NB We were at the South end of the lake (Bardolino) - the northern end was definitely cloudier and rainier as it has the hills/mountains all around, we could see the weather was very different there.
