All inclusive or self catering anywhere with a family room for 4 adults (teenage kids)

I think I want the impossible but sure some how there must be an option.

I have 2 teenagers who next summer will be 18 and 16. 16 yr old is autistic and 18 yr old is very attached to us and doesn't like being away from us. We have been to France 4 times by flying to Nice and hiring a car and staying in a mobile home on a campsite. Both children are desperate to do an "all inclusive" type holiday. I work in a school so it means even though they will both finish school in early July we can't go till early August.

Because of their issues they cannot share a room on their own so we need a family room but I haven't found anywhere yet that will let me book a family room as both children are adults. The ones that have are tiny weeny rooms with bunk beds. I then looked self catering and the beds are sofa beds. I would like a 2 bed apartment with proper beds. We would like to fly from Bournemouth but would consider Bristol or London. Not fussed on destination (preferably not Lanzarote!). Both my kids love entertainment and being around people so we are looking for somewhere with a great animation team. A villa in the hills would be our worst nightmare as we would kill each other as we need people and entertainment around us.

Does this sort of thing exist or should I just give up looking and retreat back to the mobile home in France?

Also asking the impossible but a maximum budget of £4k. Of course I can't get any free child places as kids are adults.

Can anyone recommend an apartment or hotel for me to look at.

Many thanks

You state a 2-bedroom apartment would be OK, so perhaps 2 inter-connecting rooms in an AI resort with entertainment would also be OK ?

Possibly out of budget but have a look at the Zafiro hotels in Mallorca. Great all inclusive, we stayed in one family room with teenagers on proper decent beds but there were also inter connecting ones

Sun Gardens Dubrovnik has two bedroom apartments but they are in a hotel complex with 16 restaurants and bars and in the summer a very comprehensive entertainment schedule. It was absolutely fabulous for our family of four. We just got drinks from the supermarket and popped them in the fridge.

Only downside is the beach is man made and tiny.

Try looking for the last week of August. Sometimes prices come down a bit then. You might be able to get a 2 bedroom family room at Orka Village Hisaronu in Turkey with that budget, but probably only half board. It’s well set up for teens, with a pool with slides, pool games and activities throughout the day, movie nights and evening entertainment. Loads of sport on offer too.

I have a 16 year old asd and a 17 year old so get what you mean about rooms. I am trying to think back for ones in Europe.

We did Porto Bay in Maderia - this one I think the Residence which has 1 and 2 bed apartments with up to 4 single beds in. Not sure on price, can do B&B, half board or full board. https://www.portobay.com/en/hotels/madeira-hotels/the-residence/

The Residence | Madeira Hotels | PortoBay Hotels & Resorts

4-star Funchal in Hotel, ideal for families or long term holidays. 1 or 2 bedroom apartments with kitchenette. Enjoy the facilities of Vila Porto Mare Resort: tropical gardens, 5 pools.

This hotel in Tenerife has interconnecting rooms. It's AI and the food is pretty decent. Very good professional entertainment too. It's not too hideously priced either.

Las Dalias

This place, we booked via TUI and had AI had villas on AI resort and can take 4 in 1 in normal beds.

Would a family suite with a double bedroom, twin bedroom and living room work?

we had that at Arum Barut Collection last year. Fly from Bristol with Jet2

I think Turkey is probably your best bet in terms of budget for AI and availability of apartments in AI resorts.

Jet2 fly from Bristol and have the following AI resorts in Turkey with 2 bedroom bungalows/apartments/suites which you might be able to get in budget if you go at the right point of the holidays:

Labranda Alantur
Labranda Ephesus Princess
Wyndham Kusadasi
Otium Family Eco Club
Club Alize
Maxeria Blue Didyma
Palm Wings Ephesus

If you think interconnecting rooms would be okay, there would be a bigger choice

Other resorts outside Turkey from Bristol that might work:

Stefan Village, Crete
Las Marismas, Fuerteventura
Elba Castillo San Jorge & Antigua Suite Hotel, Fuerteventura
Gavimar La Miranda, Majorca
BQ Alcudia Sun Village, Majorca

Have a look at the St Elias in Protaras. A lovely hotel and many different room types which would suit.
