Looking for:
~Beach side
~Modern
~Balcony with the room
~Sauna or steam room
~Gym
~Indoor and outdoor pool (not rooftop)
~Walkable to bars and restaurants
~Manageable for elderly parents.

Or as many of the criteria above as possible.

Thank you!

Old Town or New Town?

I don't even know the answer!

The Melia might work.

cherryassam · 10/09/2023 16:53

Fair enough!

New Town is the ‘British’ area which has the strip running through it

Old Town is the more traditional Spanish area

My elderly parents enjoy tapas and eating out in Spanish restaurants. They also like bars with - as dad would say - ‘acts on’.

I'm going with them. Benidorm wouldn't be my choice if I am honest.

For Spanish restaurants / tapas, the Old Town would be better but for the bars and some of your other requirements the New Town would be better.

I think the RH Princesa might fit the bill though, apart from the beach side

It’s well located for both Old and New Town.

Thanks @cherryassam - I will read up!

My parents have been before - usually self catering. I'm trying to find a hotel that I would like too, so that if I'm going to suggest we (DH and I) go to help them, at least I have a hotel I like.

It would have to be school holidays too - October half term - so a gym and indoor pool would help if the weather isn't so good.

No problem! I book a lot of trips to Benidorm for people - so if you’ve got any questions just let me know.
