Has anyone been recently? I’ve been looking at old threads and people seem to either love or hate it. I was debating an October half term trip to Greece as think my eldest would love the water sports. Can you relax on those holidays or does it feel like full on activities? We’d quite like a flop and drop with childcare and a bit of sun. Have also been looking at Cyprus but that’s coming out much more than Greece (I guess because of more reliable weather).

We can see this thread is quite old now, but if you’ve landed here looking for recommendations, we’ve recently updated our best Mark Warner beach resorts page with lots of great suggestions, as tried and tested by Mumsnet users. We hope you find it useful. Flowers

We've also got an exclusive Mark Warner discount for Mumsnetters that saves you 5% on the total price of a family holiday. (T&Cs apply)

I haven’t done them for years but used to love them. We tended to chill for the first couple of days and then do activities such as water skiing and sailing etc.
You can do as little or much as you want.
