RE: Sisters 30th

Hey mums!

I hope someone can help, it's my sisters 30th and she's pregnant or rather in her last pregnancy stages when her birthday is. I'm trying to organise something before the due date but she has 4 children currently and my brother and sis in law have 5 children from 4 to 20 plus 2 additional children's partners. I have no kids, in case that's not clear 😂.

My sister expressed interest in a family trip and we landed on a group trip together maybe camping and I'm trying to organise this all. Obviously also keeping in mind she's heavily pregnant so looking at glamping options too. For those who have a large group of children would you be able to recommend what you normally do for large group trips. I was thinking a nice cottage but as our numbers are in the 12/13 mark I'm finding it difficult and rather expensive. Glamping seems great if the places don't mind us completely taking over their farm/site which I am in comms with a few places but no one has come back yet.

I'm open to any/all ideas.

Thanks

Definitely not camping - glamping sounds nice if it includes a real bed? I went camping at 6 months pregnant and it was horrific.

Has she agreed to camping? It would be hideous heavily pregnant!

There's only 12 of you, you wouldn't be taking over a site so don't worry about that.

If you were camping not glamping do you have all the kit already?

We usually hire a big house when there's a group.

Some of the smaller youth hostels can be hired as exclusive use.
