Gran Canaria Feb Half Term

Hello - have booked a 5 night shift break in Gran Canaria for feb half term next year. A nice AI hotel for me, DH, and DS (12).

I know it won't be mega warm but it should be warm enough to be outside ?

Apparently some of the pools are heated - but I'm wondering if it will be warm enough to really enjoy being outside for some of the day or if we should actually look elsewhere.

Don't have the budget or time for long haul - but maybe a 4-5 hour flight would be ok.

Any thoughts?

we've been to the canaries several times then. its chilly at night but shorts/tshirt weather during the day. we have had the odd day of rain, over several holidays but generally its like a not too hot summer day in the uk. definately need a heated pool. sun oil or you will burn.

We go to Gran Canaria every February half term. You want to be in the South West - Puerto Rico/Amadores/Puerto Mogan area for the best weather. After research I discovered this is the warmest part of the Canaries for that time of year. You might have the odd shower or cloudy day but it’s definitely warm enough to be outside!! This year I was in shorts and t shirt every day and bikini by the pool.

Yes you want the most southerly resorts. Beautiful time of year. Normally beach weather in the day but long sleeves and cardigan in the evening if eating outside.

We go every Christmas and NY.

We are in Maspalomas which is right at the southern tip I think
