Canary Islands?

We’re thinking Canary Islands with our preschooler in November (I am also pregnant). We want something relaxing with nice pools, beach nearby and nice restaurants with good food. We really don’t want the whole brits abroad experience! Can anyone advise?

we don’t need loads of late night entertainment, just relaxing and clean and family friendly.

We thought lanzarote as that’s the warmest? Happy to be proved wrong! We also like a bit of nature.

Fuertaventura ticks those boxes I reckon

Puerto Mogan in Gran Canaria - The Radisson Blu or Cordial Mogan Playa

Lanzarote would tick those boxes OP, as would Gran Canaria (resort named above would be perfect). Fuerteventura is known for being windy. Tenerife definitely has the Brits Abroad vibe, I'm sorry to say, or at least the southwest corner where most of the accommodation does.

Any Lanzarote hotels you can recommend?

I haven't been since 2016, so my recommendations are probably out of date. We stayed at the Sandos Papagayo, which was lovely, but it's not walking distance from the centre of Playa Blanca if you want to eat out. There are several restaurants at the hotel though and we thought the food was good. The Princess Yaiza is closer to the centre of PB. Or, I'd really recommend Puerto de Mogan in Gran Canaria. It's a small, compact town, but it has a nice little beach and marina area with lots of restaurants. As a resort, it's much nicer than Playa Blanca.

We loved Princess Yaiza in Playa Blanca - has everything you mention
