40 in Vegas

Hiya, I’m travelling to Vegas soon with some female friends to celebrate our 40ths. Hotel and flights booked. Would love to hear any recommendations of places to eat, drink cocktails and dance. I would LOVE to go dancing to cheesy feel good music, but feel too old for proper clubbing and pool parties. Would really appreciate any recommendations from those that have been recently. Also, how much spending money would people recommend taking. Thank you x

My fave place to eat is Mon Ami Gabi - I dream about their French onion soup. I also can’t go to USA without visiting the Cheesecake Factory at least once!
The Chandelier bar & the Vesper bar both at the cosmopolitan hotel look lovely. As does Vanderpump á Paris. I also enjoyed the duelling pianos Place in NYNY hotel.
Dont forget if you are gambling, you can also get free drinks whilst you are playing - you just need to tip the waiter!

Thanks @Vanillalime. Will check those places out! Can your order anything when you are gambling (like champagne / cocktails) or only limited drinks? How much do you tip?

I used to just tip a $1-2 dollars per drink. I don’t think I ever ordered a cocktail, but I’m sure you could. That was for a bottle of beer or a vodka coke.
Im off to Atlantic City soon and have been watching YouTube videos about playing the slot machines & they now have a function where you can order drinks (including cocktails) on the slot machines themselves!! The person I was watching was scrolling though lots of cocktails, like pina coladas, sex on the beach etc. Not sure if this is the same for Vegas.
