Recommendations for a B&B in Rome

I’m visiting Rome for the first time and am simply overwhelmed by the choice of accommodation! I’m looking for a B&B towards the Vatican (I’ve been told it’s an interesting area). Has anyone got any recommendations they wouldn’t mind sharing? I’d be eternally grateful for advice to visit the eternal city!

We stayed here pre covid. 4 nights, fabulous. Adele is great, she arranged pick up & drop of for us from & to the airport. It's not by the Vatican, but is a short walk to tram & many buses, very easy to get about. It's in a more residential area. It's a corner of a big mansion house. She helped with planning trips & pre holiday, advised to pre book tickets for Vatican & Colesuem. We had a great time

We stayed here, wonderful location right on Torre Argentina. It was only 10 mins by taxi from the Vatican and within walking distance of all the other major sites. Breakfast is served to your room, you fill in a card the night before and just tick off everything you fancy! Highly recommended and good value for money for Rome aswell!
