Too much hassle so nowhere

Sorry

Do you want things for you that the preschooler might be comfortable with, or is the trip to be aimed around them?

Depends how your pre-schooler works. With DD we went everywhere as she loved going to museums, castles, churches and eating out. Less shopping though.

We normally looked that there were playgrounds and parks around and a good mix of things to do.

Valencia. There’s loads for dc that age (including a beach) and it will still be mild.

Copenhagen and New York are both fantastic for preschoolers (kid friendly museums and restaurants, great playgrounds, good transport ect).

Neither will be cold in October, but obvs not sunny!

Get an apartment so you don’t have to worry about hotels and bedtimes.

The daytime flight to NY is the only thing that might be a pain. I’d give in the the iPad for that.

We loved Barcelona and Vienna with DS as a preschooler.

Palma or Malaga as heaps to do/short flight/Spanish great with kids plus can go to the beach too.

I would love to go to Copenhagen in the autumn and visit the Tivoli Gardens during their Halloween celebrations.

From 13 Oct to 6 Nov

Haha I get this but we’ve also done nothing in so long and I’m aching to get away, even though there’ll be hassle and it’ll be nothing like a pre kids trip!

Barcelona. Aquarium, Zoo, beach. And the Gaudi buildings./park are whacky enough to appeal to children. Mount Tibidabo.
