Hello knowledgeable people of MN.

My in laws live near Hull (Hornsea to be precise) and we are hoping to do a kid based holiday that is near them next Easter.

Ages 6 & 9.

Open to Haven, CP etc. type places or anywhere that had good facilities for kids really.

Have any of you been to a good kids resort/park etc in that region.

Many thanks 🙏

My grandparents live in Hull and we’ve done several holidays nearby with my siblings and their families so my GPs can see all their great grandchildren.

Ones that have gone down well:

Flamingo Land Resort (fairly tacky tbh, but the kids all really loved being so close to the theme park)

High Farm Holiday Park, Beverley - nice little holiday park, not a huge amount for kids but a good play area. Not too far to Beverley which is a lovely town. Some nice little villages around too.

Haven Reighton Sands - great position next to the beach, pool was nice enough. Pretty quiet for a Haven park so if you want more entertainment etc. Primrose Valley along the bay might be more suitable. We wanted somewhere nice and quiet for my GPs and Reighton Sands fit that. We did day trips to Filey, Brid, and Scarborough as well as a boat trip around Flamborough Head which was great but not for those with a weak stomach!

Haven Thornwick Bay is the best Yorkshire Haven in terms of both accommodation, customer service and facilities. There’s loads to do including an indoor pool with slides, rock climbing, archery, pottery painting etc…

The Bay in Filey might be of interest- a bit further north. It's cottages with access to the beach, but also an indoor pool and some other facilities on site open to the residents. The cottages can be booked through cottage booking sites.

Have a look at sand le mere. We've had lovely breaks with them. It's not far from your in laws at all.
