Another passport query

Hi all. I’m going to Vietnam soon and returning 7/12/23. My passport was issued 16 Jan 2014 and expires16 August 2024. Do you know if that means it’s valid and if not who can I ask for a definitive answer? I’ve emailed the Vietnamese Consulate but not sure I’m going to get a speedy response. Thanks!

According to the Foreign Office travel website on Vietnam your passport should be valid for six months from the day you arrive. Ensure also that your passport is in good condition and not damaged in any way.

As above said, six months left on your passport from the entry date into Vietnam.
