Turkey in October

Planning to visit at the beginning of October and looking for unusual/interesting places to stay near the sea. Can you recommend somewhere to stay or company to book through?

We've stayed in a villa in a village called Kayakoy - it was beautiful. It had a 'ghost village' where you can walk around the abandoned village that was occupied by Greek Christians before they were sent back to Greece. The village gave Louis de Bernieres his inspiration for the book Birds Without Wings.

It has lovely restaurants and the hiking is fantastic.

Fethiye is close enough to visit and is a fantastic, authentic town.

You fly into Dalaman...the priciest airport in the world!
