Hi all , my partner and I are looking to drive in france for the first time but unsure where to go . Ideally we would like our first trip to be to a pretty coastal town but don't know France so can you advise of anywhere you've been you like that's not hideously far ? We will come via Eurostar . Any advice is appreciated as we are newbies driving a camper

If you are going on the Shuttle to Calais I would recommend Le Touquet, about 45 minutes drive.

Yes to Normandy Coast, Le Touquet a good suggestion, further west Deauville, Honfleur. Driving in France is very straightforward, although make sure you're complying with their driving laws - high vis vests in the car for each of you (must be accessible from car, can't be in boot), emergency triangle. Not sure if you still need breathalysers. Have fun!
