Weekend break in November- Help!

So I’ve managed to get DCs looked after for a weekend in November and would love to take DH away for a 50th birthday treat. Any suggestions/recommendations? UK or Europe, either is doable. We’ve recently been to York and Edinburgh with the kids which we loved but haven’t had a city break abroad for many many years. Thanks in advance!

Copenhagen
Madrid

Lots to do in all of these

Porto! Cheap flights, lovely city, easy to do in a weekend. It won’t be super sunny but will be nicer than here.

Seville is lovely in November, usually high teens to low twenties. It can be a bit rainy but nothing like the UK!

Lisbon is also pleasant at that time of year.

If you’re not bothered about warm weather, I would go by what flights your local airport has at the best times. When you’re going for such a short break, flight time becomes more important in my experience.

Or you could look at Eurostar to Paris or Amerstdam, or Ghent / Bruges

Florence. It's a fabulous city but the heat in the Summer makes it difficult to enjoy. But in November it would be lovely.

We're off to Seville at the end of November.
